Flashback Of The Week

Time and time again our world is gifted with a memorably iconic persona – Romy Schneider in the early 1960s, Jane Birkin in the 1970s, and around about the same time, the sublime Françoise Madelaine Hardy. Pictured here with her equally renowned husband Jacques Dutronc and newborn son Thomas, it’s palpably clear that Françoise’ enigmatic demeanor has always been intrinsic. I am in awe of how effortlessly cool she looks as a new mom – androgynous yes, but delicate and endearing more so. Certainly not to be missed is the loving expression cast by Jacques on his son – mixed in with those romantic laissez-faire locks, it comes as no surprise that they have been together for more than 33 years – an absolute feat considering their jet-setting lifestyles!
