Smile Train

If you’re still racking your brain for the perfect gift to give this Sunday, we have an idea for you. A thoughtful card, a bouquet of her favorite flowers, or even a little bling are always welcome, but this Mother’s Day we’ll also be making a donation in her name to Smile Train.

Smile Train is a non-profit organization that operates on a sustainable single mission–providing training and funding to empower doctors to provide free cleft repair surgery in their own countries. A cleft palate is an easily fixable condition, but in developing countries the operation required is often unattainable, whether for financial reasons or lack of access to adequate medical care. Smile Train provides free cleft surgery for children in 87 countries, helping to ensure they no longer have difficulty eating, breathing, and sleeping. We love the Smile Train mission, and it couldn’t be easier to make a donation in honor of the woman who made us who we are today!
