Meet Daria Einhorn, founder of Childrenswear brand DISA

Based in New York, Daria Einhorn’s line of handmade children’s clothes is everything we love about modern children’s wear design. Minimalistic, made of organic cotton and linen, printed with non-toxic inks, and all in timeless styles, Daria knows exactly what to offer moms looking for beautiful but responsibly made clothes. Here she shares the story behind Disa and where she finds the inspiration for her unique designs.
Can you tell us a bit about Disa? How did you get your start?
When I started having kids I became passionate about children’s fashion. I came up with some ideas of what I could bring to that world, being a mom of two crazy, active (but amazing) boys. So it was a natural process for me, because I also really appreciate the artisan way of making things.
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
My kids and the things and ideas they talk about and love, nature, and discovering different countries and cultures.
Where can we shop your designs?
Through my website, at the Fivestory New York shop, and through my husband’s shopping platform, Fancy.
What’s your dream day together as a family?
I really love spending time on the beach, so the dream day would be to wake up late, eat a huge freshly-made breakfast, and play on a sandy beach with my entire Russian-American family.
