Flashback Friday

With awards season just a week behind us, I got curious and started to look for images of previous Oscar winning woman who despite their n for their career, where also inspirational mothers. I came across this photo of Meryl Streep with one of her daughters (not precised) and what stroke me the most, was the quote accompanying the photo

“Motherhood has a very humanizing effect. Everything gets reduced to essentials.”

I couldn’t agree more. Becoming a mother changes everything in your life, and most importantly, it helps you keep your feet grounded and be connected to everything real that matters, making you a better person.
