Introducing Beachwood Baby

Beachwood Baby was founded around the time Ljuba L McCormick (Beachwood Baby’s founder) second child was born.

“I’d used a ring sling with my first baby and fell in love with the idea behind it, especially the comfort and ease of it but couldn’t find one that I really liked. Having grown up in Spain (Mallorca) the mediterranean aesthetics were really important to me, so I decided to create slings out of Turkish towels. We added a unique freshness to the overall look of the typical sling, while using amazing quality fabrics. My babies have been my inspiration, and the sling has kept them close to me through it all. ”

Beachwood Baby is based out of California, with  fabrics  imported fromTurkey and have the final product made in LA.

“The marketplace was something I wanted to create with a bit of flexibility. The idea behind it was to have a store with unique items for mothers and children from around the world. Our first collection has more of a European feel to it- with our market baskets, kids robes and traditional Spanish shoes known as avarcas. ”
