Flashback of the Week

This isn’t the biggest of flashbacks, as it’s only a photo from 2012, but we think it’s already a classic. Licia Ronzulli, an Italian Member of European Parliament, started bringing her daughter Vittoria to work with her when Vittoria was only six weeks old–to a voting session on improving women’s employment rights, no less. Licia, who started her career as a hospital nurse, continued the tradition by regularly bringing Vittoria to voting sessions, like the one shown here, with two year old Vittoria carefully watching as she sits in her mom’s lap. Mother and daughter look serious and composed, and we can’t help but be inspired by their example. Find more photos of Vittoria’s visits to Parliament here, and happy weekend!
